HISTORY OF THE ORIGINAL TWISTED FLOWER
The original recipe for TWISTED FLOWER PUNCH by our COO, Tony Hyde was brought to his restaurant, THE SATTDOWN JAMAICAN GRILL in Studio City, California.
It was there that Twisted Flower's CEO, William Lanphear, tasted it for the first time. The refreshing flavor of the drink immediately peeked Bill's interest, and his gift of thinking in terms of marketing came into play. As it happened, Tony had been thinking of how to market the beverage to a larger audience, so a partnership was formed. The Sattdown Jamaican Gril is now considered the "Original Home of Twisted Flower Punch."
The name "Twisted Flower" comes from the fact that the bud of a hibiscus flower 'twists' open to form its beautiful five petal blossom.
